Programs & Sessions
Initial Contact
We start with an initial phone/email/Skype consultation free of charge. Here we are able to discuss your needs and determine the need for a full evaluation. At absolutely no cost to you, this is primarily an opportunity for you to see if Green Light Speech is a good fit for your specific needs.
After our initial "meet and greet", we can decide whether or not to proceed with a formal evaluation and program planning. If so, a comprehensive case history form will be emailed to you, which you will fill out prior to the evaluation.
Evaluations
If an evaluation is determined to be necessary, we will set up a place and time to meet for formal assessment. Standardized testing, clinical observations, and surveys will be used as needed to compare skill levels to those of published norms.
Evaluation time will range from 1-3 hours, depending on the needs of the client. If more time is deemed necessary, follow-up appointments can be made to finish testing.
Sessions
Evaluation results will be used to determine the need for and projected frequency and duration of therapy services.
A treatment session can vary in length from 30 minutes to 1 hour or more, depending on client needs. Most sessions will be conducted one-on-one, unless otherwise requested or required for specific communication goals.
Fees
Services and fees are all presented upfront and clearly articulated in written form before evaluations or treatment sessions begin.
